Our client is looking for an experienced Commercial Lines Broker (Licensed) for the region to work in one of their locations in NS to service their Commercial Insurance clients.

This position is a client focused role where you would be providing excellent customer service to existing clients! The incumbent would be responsible for providing service to various books of business, filling in where required.
You will be responsible to support commercial lines across the province as a licensed broker where needed based on workload, absences etc.
while cross selling and upselling additional products. This position would also include maintaining accurate and thorough documentation of all client and insurer communications and promoting client loyalty through attention to detail and relationship-building within tight deadlines.
You may be required to work on special projects i.e. reviewing a book of business for upsell, working with insurers on portfolio level changes etc.
This is an in office position with a great supportive team, employees even have access to a pool and gym! There will be in house support for claim processing in this role, which will allow you to focus more on your clients.
This role is for someone looking for variation and different clients; no two days are the same!
To be successful in this role, you should have your CAIB, CIP, or CIM license, with 3 plus years commercial insurance brokering experience.
In addition, you should have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills, and strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
You should also be adaptable and have a demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast paced, multi-faceted environment! Having excellent computer / keyboarding skills and being proficient in MS Office : Word, Excel and Outlook are a must.
A generous compensation package, which includes base plus commission, will be determined based on the candidates’ qualifications and experience, with room for future growth.
