Marketing Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our Distribution Enablement team. The Marketing Assistant will provide support to the Distribution Enablement team on projects related to achieving Distribution’s growth and retention goals as they apply to content, social media, event coordination and email marketing.
The Marketing Assistants’ focus will include working closely with the Distribution Enablement team on projects designed to increase brand awareness while maintaining existing channels.
The Marketing Assistant will :
- Deliver clear, persuasive copy for a variety of audiences and produce communications materials - including, but not limited to blog posts, emails, social media etc.
- Research and curate industry content for use in Partner Solutions-specific posts and initiatives
- Manage BBD and Partner Solutions social media handles including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
- Process changes to BBD and Partner Solutions websites and landing pages
- Maintain timely updates on customer-facing platforms that align to BBD
- Coordinate changes, proofs and audit of materials including regular maintenance, uploads and version tracking
- Support the Graphic Designer in the creation of branded images for social media, content, and email campaigns
- Maintain lists and requirements for Partner Solutions email marketing campaigns
- Support in the planning and execution of BBD and Partner Solutions marketing campaigns
To be successful as aMarketing Assistant with People Corporation, you will need :
- Ability to prioritize tasks and pay attention to detail
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Capable of performing well in a data and deadline-driven environment with frequent interruptions
- Demonstrated ability to work in a creative environment
All-star candidates will have :
- 1 year of experience in a marketing setting would be an asset
- Post-secondary studies in a related field considered an asset
- Knowledge of WordPress and the Adobe Suite (willingness to learn these skills)
- Knowledge of AODA and privacy legislation and other legislative requirements would be an asset
