Job Title : IT Manager
Job Summary :
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled IT Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, managing databases, overseeing ERP systems, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and handling web development tasks.
This role is essential for maintaining the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure and ensuring the highest level of service to our users.
Key Responsibilities :
1. IT Management :
- Manage daily operations of the IT support function
- Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and passwords.
- Conduct IT training sessions for staff as needed.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans as it pertains to IT support operations
o Establish and enforce IT policies and procedures to safeguard the organization’s information assets and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
o Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and data management systems
o Research and evaluate new technology trends, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and ensure the organization stays competitive in its industry
o Design, implement, and manage cybersecurity programs and initiatives to prevent, detect, and respond to cyber threats and vulnerabilities
o Assist in budget planning for the IT support department, including forecasting costs for equipment, resources, and staff
2. Database Management :
- Design, implement, and maintain databases (SQL).
- Ensure database performance, security, and availability.
- Perform regular database backups and recovery procedures.
- Optimize database queries and troubleshoot database-related issues.
- Develop and maintain database documentation
3. ERP Management :
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of ERP systems.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure ERP systems meet business needs.
- Perform regular updates and upgrades to ERP software.
- Provide training and support to ERP system users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues.
4. Software Troubleshooting :
- Identify and resolve software application issues.
- Install and update software applications.
- Collaborate with software vendors for support and troubleshooting.
- Ensure software compliance and licensing.
5. Hardware Troubleshooting :
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues.
- Maintain an inventory of hardware and software assets.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement and repairs.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates of hardware systems.
6. Web Development :
- Develop robust and user-friendly web application features from concept to production.
- Implement responsive and visually appealing user interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Design and develop server-side logic using Classic ASP and VBScript.
- Optimize application for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
Qualifications :
- Degree / diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in IT support, database management, ERP systems, and web development.
- Minimum 5 years experience
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network systems.
- Proficiency in database languages such as SQL.
- Experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Proficiency in web development languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Skills :
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified : Azure Database Administrator Associate, or equivalent.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Joomla).
