Litigation Lawyer Required for Expanding Law Firm
Litigation Lawyer required for successful Law Firm who is currently expanding. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, property, estate, construction, and / or employment litigation.
Our Client offers a collaborative and supportive environment and provides for a competitive remuneration package. This opportunity provides for hybrid accomodation.
Duties
- Advocating for clients at all stages of the litigation process
- Working in collaboration with other associates and / or partners
- Conducting initial client consultations
- Drafting pleadings, facta, affidavits, notices of application / motion and other Court documents
- Conducting legal research
- Overseeing work delegated to students
- Conducting examinations for discovery, cross-examinations and other examinations
- Conducting Court hearings including trials, motions and applications
- Conducting tribunal hearings
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of post-call litigation experience in addition to :
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle carriage of a variety of litigation files
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
