As aCharge Nurse, you will take on a leadership role within the nursing team,overseeing daily operations and ensuring high standards of patient expertise will be critical in coordinating nursing activities, supporting staff,and facilitating effective communication among healthcare providers. KeyResponsibilities :
- Lead andsupervise nursing staff, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensureoptimal patient care.
- Overseepatient assignments and ensure that care is delivered effectively andefficiently, addressing any issues that arise.
- Conductassessments, monitor patient conditions, and make clinical decisions to enhancepatient outcomes.
- Facilitatecommunication between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcareprofessionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Participatein quality assurance initiatives, adhering to protocols and standards tomaintain high-quality care.
- Assist inthe orientation and training of new nursing staff, fostering a culture ofcontinuous learning and improvement.
- Act as afirst responder to any emergencies within the unit, implementing appropriateinterventions as needed.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation ofpatient care activities, assessments, and outcomes in electronic health records(EHR).
