Block Rewards is a Canadian SaaS company offering innovative financial solutions that integrate Bitcoin into employee compensation and rewards.

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage company-wide projects at Block Rewards. The Project Manager will work closely with the COO, product team, and development team to ensure timely delivery of projects, while also contributing to other company initiatives as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience using JIRA, Atlassian software like Jira Product Discovery, and is familiar with managing remote teams using Microsoft Teams.

Responsibilities :

• Report directly to the COO and manage company projects across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Collaborate with the CPO and CTO to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
• Work closely with team members to create and track SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) goals.
• Use JIRA and other Atlassian software to track project progress, manage sprints, and handle backlogs.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration across teams, ensuring transparency and efficiency in project execution.
• Assist in identifying project risks and issues, and proactively work to mitigate them.
• Work remotely in the Pacific Time Zone, ensuring daily coordination and status updates.
• Utilize Microsoft Teams for remote collaboration and project coordination.
• Participate in other company projects as needed, supporting different teams and initiatives.
• Setting up SOPs and guidelines for Project Management

Qualifications :

• Proven success as a Project Manager for a 1m 5m SaaS Company
• University Degree or similar
• Experience with PMP Fundamentals
• Strong experience working with JIRA, Jira Product Discovery, and other Atlassian tools.
• Experience managing remote teams and working in a distributed environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for project coordination and communication.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
• Ability to define and track SMART goals for multiple teams.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Comfortable working remotely in the Pacific Time Zone (8 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Friday).

Nice-to-Have Qualifications :

• Knowledge of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency industry trends.
• Experience working in fintech or blockchain-related projects.
• Experience working in a startup environment.
• Project Management Professional PMP

Location : Remote (Pacific Time Zone, 8 AM - 4 PM, Monday to Friday)
