Overview
Ocean Steel was incorporated in 1955 and serves several markets, including Atlantic Canada, the Eastern United States, Bermuda and the Caribbean. They specialize in fabricating and erecting structural steel for buildings and bridges, and also manufacture and install platework such as breechings, stacks, ducts, penstocks, process and storage tanks, and custom process-equipment. Ocean Steel has two New Brunswick plants : the original Saint John location and the York Steel Plant in Fredericton, acquired in 1995.

As a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Ocean Steel & Construction Ltd. offers a comprehensive compensation package beginning after completing forty-five (45) working shifts, including seniority with Shopmen’s Local Unit No.809, overtime hours paid at time and a half; double time on weekends, health and dental coverage, life insurance and RRSP options.
