Opportunities for Pathologists in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada
Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) currently has full-time , permanent vacancies for General / Anatomical Pathologists .
Our pathologists provide direction and supervision of clinical laboratory services including a testing volume of approximately 1.
5 million per year. Anatomical pathology services include over 16,000 surgical pathology cases supported by histochemical and immunoperoxidase staining protocols, and approximately 4,000 cytology cases.
- Must have or be eligible for independent license with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).
- Certification in General or Anatomical Pathology.
Compensation :
Generous compensation package including a funded community visit and relocation expense reimbursement. Compensation will be in accordance with the Laboratory Medicine Physician Funding Agreement.
Opportunities to participate in HOCC funding, teaching and research. $80,000+ Northern Recruitment Incentive and $7,000 annual Retention Incentive.

TBRHSC serves Northwestern Ontario from East of White River to the Manitoba border in the West, and from Hudson Bay in the North to the United States border in the South.
TBRHSC is the only acute care hospital in the City of Thunder Bay and operates one of the busiest emergency departments in Canada.
We are the only tertiary hospital in Northwestern Ontario and the regional referral centre for 10 smaller regional acute care hospitals.
