Job Summary
As a Financial Analyst with Wealth Management Performance Management you will help the team provide its business partners with value-adding reporting and financial advisory support.
Wealth Management Finance provides management reporting and business advisory support to all Wealth Management segments, including Canadian Wealth Management, U.
S. Wealth Management (including City National), Global Asset Management, International Wealth Management, and Investor Services.
What will you do?
Financial Planning & Analysis : Analyze actual performance and elicit insights to be communicated to management. Contribute to plans and forecasts of business performance as well as stress tests by developing and using financial models, summarize and communicate key facts for management.
Competitive Analysis & Benchmarking : Extract key data points from peer disclosures and analyst research and work with the team to produce succinct reports for senior management’s use.
Change Things for the Better : Support continuous improvement in driving efficiencies and automating processes.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have :
Pursuit of a degree in Finance / Accounting / Business or a quantitative discipline with an interest in finance / accounting.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail.
Strong communication skills.
Self-motivated and independent worker with a solutions-driven mind-set.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and experience building and changing reports including data visualizations.
Nice-to-have :
Working knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Microsoft PowerBI).
Knowledge of or experience in the wealth management / asset management industry.
