Project Coordinator
Manga Hotel Group is a privately held Canadian company involved in the acquisition, development, and management of real estate with a focus on high quality hotels affiliated with prestigious brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, and InterContinental Hotel Group.
Currently, Manga Hotels owns and operates 28 hotels with over 5000 rooms, 15 food and beverage outlets and 5 residential properties with a number of new properties and developments in the pipeline.
As Manga Hotel Group continues to expand, we are actively seeking talented individuals to join our growing team. As a Project Coordinator, your primary role will involve facilitating seamless communication and coordination among diverse stakeholders engaged in the construction project.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Support senior staff with various duties as assigned i.e. calling subtrades during the bid process, recording meeting minutes, negotiations with contractors, data management, etc.;
- Prepares estimates and take off and procures material for construction projects, as per specifications / drawings
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities
- Prepares construction schedules by studying plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting efficiencies
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
- Site visits for supervision and coordination of trades and work
- Maintains continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and
- communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Perform any other duties required to run the project professionally, smoothly and safely
