The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of sour oil and gas wells. You will work on a rotating schedule of 10-hour days, with 8 days on and 6 days off.
This is a full-time position offering competitive wages, starting at $40 per hour, with the opportunity for advancement based on experience and performance.
Key Responsibilities : Operate and maintain sour oil and gas wells safely and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Monitor and adjust equipment to ensure optimal production levels. Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production equipment.
Record production data and report any issues or abnormalities. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Work closely with field teams to support overall production goals. Qualifications : Minimum of 3 years of experience operating sour oil and gas wells.
Strong understanding of oil and gas production processes, including the handling of sour gas. Knowledge of safety protocols related to sour wells.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field. Valid safety certifications (H2S Alive, First Aid, WHMIS, etc.
are an asset. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Benefits : Competitive hourly wage starting at $40 per hour, with potential increases based on experience.
