Structural BIM / CAD Technologist Position in Victoria, BC
Skyline Engineering, a boutique structural engineering firm located in Victoria BC, is seeking an entry to intermediate level Structural BIM / CAD Technologist.
Qualifications :
- Completed Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, or Computer Aided Design and Drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCad and / or Revit
Other Assets Include :
- Experience with AutoCAD and / or Revit
- Experience reading and preparing structural and / or architectural drawings
- General understanding of construction and construction procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to take direction and work well with others
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Duties :
- Drafting of structural drawings
- Coordinate the structural design and liaise with the consultant team (architectural, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
- Preparation of technical site instructions
- Review of shop drawings
