Current Work Includes :

Luxury Homes in Vancouver, Boutique Hotels, High Rise Towers both commercial and residential, Retail Stores, Sales Presentation Centers in BC and China, Commercial Office Interiors.

Qualifications

Successful Candidates need :

• 3 5 years of experience in the Architecture / Design and Construction industry
• Strong technical knowledge in building detailing
• Building Envelope detailing
• Working knowledge of the BCBC and VBBL and ability to work with zoning bylaws in multiple jurisdictions
• Experience preparing Contract Documents
• Experience managing Contract Administration on small to medium sized projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Expected to be self-directed, detail oriented, and have a thoughtful method of approach to design solutions.
• Strong design portfolio
• Interest in a wide range of project types including Architecture, Interior’s, and Landscaping
• Proficiency in Autocad and Sketchup are required. Photoshop and other programs are an asset.

Additional information :

Wages and contract terms are negotiable based on skill and experience.

Office description :

The office is located in the heart of Kitsilano in the Armory district of Vancouver within a five minute walk to Granville Island.

An abundance of amenities including the waterfront are seconds away from the HDA office. We are very accessible by public transit, bike, and car with good access to parking.
