What you will be doing :

You will be responsible for the delivery and results of credit card and unsecured lending acquisition strategies and be accountable for monitoring and managing the performance of the credit card and unsecured lending acquisition results.

The manager will implement and track initiatives and programs and make recommendations on how to drive growth and optimize performance within the needs of the business.

The successful incumbent will participate in the development, implementation and maintenance of product and process changes that support acquisition efforts for Tangerine's credit card and unsecured lending portfolios.

They will collaborate with other teams in Marketing, Risk, Operations, CX and others across the organization to create opportunities to strengthen Tangerine's acquisition efficiency, and client satisfaction while meeting regulatory requirements.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will :

Work closely with Product colleagues, Marketing, Analytics and Risk teams to execute customer growth strategies and identify executional opportunities and challenges.

Drive the seamless delivery of high impact campaigns, partnering with Marketing and Channel teams to deliver omni-channel (digital, contact centre, affiliate, SEM and social media) programs that resonate with clients and optimize acquisition.

Regularly review competitive landscape for analysis and insights on products, offers, pricing and engage with competitive intelligence teams as required to gather relevant info

Support product launches and the development of offer and pricing recommendations

Monitor and review results of fraud logic and risk policy across credit card and unsecured lending product acquisition and work with Fraud Strategy, Credit Risk, Analytics, Operations, EDW and CRM teams to enhance as required

Regularly review and monitor campaign performance reporting, support acquisition forecasting and work with Analytics team to enhance as required

Draft business cases and marketing recommendations on product acquisition strategies and tactics by interpreting business and client needs.

Draft product content for the business to ensure that the client touch points present the accurate features and benefits of our products.

Working with Marketing partners, assist in the creation of marketing, disclosure and fulfilment materials, ensuring that programs are executed on time, on budget and without operational risk.

Work closely with inter-departmental teams (i.e. IT, Marketing, Service and Sales, Operations, Legal and Compliance, Finance, Risk etc.

to assist in implementing recommendations that strengthen product acquisition performance; including product positioning, competitive differentiators and process improvements.

Responsible for understanding and complying with the Regulatory Compliance Framework including the Anti-Money Laundering / Anti-Terrorist Financing and Sanctions Policy and all AML related policies, procedures and controls within the department.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have :

Bachelor's Degree required, MBA or other Graduate degree a plus

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in either Sales or Marketing

Strong experience with lending products, processes and operations

Extensive experience with front line lending sales and market analysis

Able to work in cross functional teams on initiatives and projects of varying scope and duration simultaneously

Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills; ability to convey information clearly and simply at all levels

Strong financial acumen and analytical skills; leveraging data insights to inform business decisions

Strategic business sense

Able to impact and influence internal stakeholders and external partners to drive desired results

Exceptional collaboration, partnership and relationship management skills demonstrated through previous roles

Proven ability to think strategically

Strong communicator with excellent presentation skill
