Eden Valley Poultry Inc. is seeking a SHUNTER to join our team. Eden Valley Poultry Inc. located at 326 Main Street in Berwick, Nova Scotia is a company unique in the industry.

We are currently seeking an evening Shunter. As a Shunter you will be responsible for the safe and timely movement of trailers in the shipping yard, this includes moving trailers to the shipping doors and removing full trailers to support the efficient flow of product shipments while ensuring compliance with transportation acts and regulations.

In addition to shunting, you will be responsible for the inspection and repair of shipping pallets, this includes the disposal of pallets that cannot be used or do not meet quality standards.

• Valid Nova Scotia driver's license Class 1 with Air Brakes.
• Clean Drivers Abstract.
• Previous experience and a proven commendable record driving a straight trailer.
• Working knowledge of general maintenance procedures.
• Working knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Ability to work effectively as a part of a team as well as independently.
• Hours of Work : Monday Friday, 6 : 00 p.m. 2 : 00 a.m.; occasional weekend work required.
