Forklift Operator/Material Handler- Day shift
Forklift Operator (Temporary to Permanent) About Our Client Our client has representatives and warehouses all across Canada.
They are a manufacturer and distributor of fire alarms, security systems, automation building solutions and more since 1991.
We are looking for amazing, hardworking staff to work in their second largest building in Canada! What You Will Be Doing, as a Forklift Operator :
- Movement, protection, storage and control of materials and products throughout manufacturing, warehousing, distribution
- Print / Read Picking slips from the system
- Pulls and verifies materials and supplies on production orders.
- Receive materials in the system and stamp paperwork with date and signature
- Monitor inventory
- Other duties as assigned
What You Should Have, as a Forklift Operator :
- Being Bilingual is an asset but English must be your first language for this role.
- Must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ similar experience
- Must have minimum of 2-3 years’ reach experience in a similar environment
- Must have a valid third party forklift license for Reach
- Must have CSA safety boots / shoes
In Return, You Will Receive :
- $21.00 per hour
- Paid weekly, every Friday.
- Opportunity for permanent hire
- 4% vacation pay accrued and paid out when you need it.
- Access to a Vertical Representative Monday to Friday 8am to 11pm and on weekends
The Shift You Will Be Working is :
- Day shift Monday to Friday
- 7 : 00am to 3 : 30pm
- ½ hour lunch (unpaid) & 2 x 15 minute breaks (paid)
Where You Will Be Working, as a Forklift Operator :
- Rue Avro & Sources Blvd (Pointe-Claire)
- This may be bus accessible to some
