About the Program
The MEPP is a unique initiative aimed at empowering newly arrived Murids in Canada by fostering entrepreneurship in key sectors.
These may include home-based businesses such as tailoring, esthetics services and baking. This program combines hands-on mentorship, industry-specific knowledge, and practical business skills development to help participants establish and grow their own micro-entrepreneurships promoting financial stability.
About the Role
- Understand and become well versed with program materials and templates.
- Liaise with the Industry SME's to gain the industry knowledge required to support the program participant.
- Attending local and national MEPP calls.
- Filling in regular status reports as required.
- Regular cadence and communications required with the program participant.
- Program Advisor will report primarily to the local chairs and indirectly to the Core Team.
- Meetings with program participants will take place in person as well as on-line.
Note : Training will be provided for the role.

Skills and Competencies :
- Police check is Mandatory.
- Capacity for patience and compassion.
- Ability to be a motivator to participants.
- Strong Interpersonal Skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Farsi Language experience an asset.
- Business acumen an asset.
- Experience in Project Management an asset.
- Experience in Financial Management an asset.
