We are currently looking to hire a Professional Millwright in Abbotsford, BC. (Accepting Apprentices and Trades Qualified Candidates!)

We are currently expanding our product options and have opened positions for career orientated Millwrights from any level of your training or certification.

We are seeking an individual that can perform all in-house repairs, develop, and carry out preventative maintenance inspections, follow preventative maintenance scheduling to sustain optimal performance of equipment and minimize downtime and costs.

We are looking for someone with the ability to quickly act with an intense sense of urgency to on-floor calls and emergencies.

You would be well suited for this role with a good understanding of PLC's and programmable controls and is computer literate. More details below!

Location : Abbotsford, BC

Shift : 24 / 7 facility shift TBD

Wage offered : Hourly rate : $42.00 + Shift Premium and + Dual ticketed : $0.97 additional / hour

Responsibilities

• Production line troubleshooting, identify spare parts required and ordering of parts.
• Responsible for completing a work schedule in cooperation with departments and Maintenance
• Ensures that all required documentation is completed correctly and on-time.
• All work performed and completed may require skills such as electrical, PLC programming, etc.
• Ability to work with refrigeration, hydraulics, pneumatics, vacuum, plumbing, fabrication etc.
• Production line troubleshooting, identify spare parts required and ordering of parts.
• Welding and other tasks as needed. This role has alot of growth potential

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in food packaging equipment and industrial maintenance
• Flexible shift availability as this role could be rotational as need to start
• Good knowledge of electronics and PLC technologies and trouble shooting skills
• Acts a liaison for contractors conducting repairs in the plant.
• Work in extreme temperatures, dusty areas, or on physically demanding projects
• Ability to lift at least 50lbs as this role can be physically demanding
• Located in or around the Abbotsford, BC area
