Compensation : $ per hour (when qualified)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate all packaging equipment in an efficiency manner to deliver packaging KPI targets including (but not limited to) : line efficiency, film waste, attainment.
  • Sustain competency in role through PBT training and learning new skills as required through automation / programming changes.
  • Troubleshoot equipment to solve performance problems.
  • Support continuous cleanliness in the area including housekeeping and end of week sanitation duties.
  • Collaborate with the PMO team to provide functional leadership, coaching, and technical support in the packaging area.
  • Participate as a full member of the Lethbridge PMO Team, including attendance to PMO meetings.
  • Assist in the development, actioning, and implementation of strategic plans in the packaging area.

Shift : Multiple shifts available. Preference given to candidates who are available to work all shifts.

Qualifications

  • Excellent physical coordination and conditioning
  • Successful completion of aptitude test
  • Good speaking and writing skills
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Reliable Transportation

Physical demands and working conditions :

  • Must be able to lift / carry 45-60 lbs. constantly for 8-12 hours a day.
  • Must be able to push / pull up to 80 lbs. frequently.
  • Must be able to perform constant standing, walking, bending, twisting, squatting, reaching, and grasping.
  • Completing Safety, Quality / Food Safety training and adhering to the Safety and Food Safety policies that is required for your area.
