Regional Sales Manager Recreation
Our client is a leading manufacturer of recreation equipment. They are seeking to hire a Regional Sales Manager responsible for growing and managing distribution channels, developing those relationships and expanding customer base.
The role is responsible for leading a team of direct and independent sales reps and promoting growth.
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage a sales team (direct and independent sales reps)
- Assist with hiring and training new agencies, conduct field rides as needed
- Review existing distribution channels, identify business development opportunities
- Establish and maintain client and agency relationships
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans, in support of the organization’s growth initiatives
- Maintain knowledge of competitors and market trends; analyze and report findings
- Identify, develop and influence business opportunities; lead sales programs
- Assist with sales and marketing materials
- Develop market opportunities by visiting clients and agencies as well as tracking performance
- Lead client communication efforts, develop creative initiatives to meet client needs / requirements and provide conflict resolution
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and market
- Attend and conduct sales meetings and trade shows
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Min. 3+ years Sales experience working with agencies, independent reps required
- Seeking backgrounds in recreation sales, construction sales and / or building material sales
- Bilingual French a plus
- Ability to lead and motivate a sales team (direct and independent sales reps)
- Documented of performance and sales success
- Excellent Problem Solving & Communication skills
- Strong Negotiation & Analytical skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
- Ability to travel 50%, some overnights
Offering :
- Base Salary $120,000 $135,000 CAD (based on experience)
