Maintenance Manager - Souris, PE
This position is located in Souris, PE and is responsible for the management of maintenance department, personnel and all maintenance activities at Agrawest Foods.
This is a hands-on role and the Maintenance Manager will be directly involved with the maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts and equipment throughout the manufacturing and production areas.
Major responsibilities include : supervising the maintenance team, performing regular inspection and maintenance of mechanical systems, monitoring and managing the maintenance operations and capital budget, maintain required reports, hold monthly safety meetings for maintenance team, attend management meetings and HACCP meetings,
The plant runs 24 / 7 with periodic shut downs for maintenance. Therefore the Maintenance Manager is required to assist with any Maintenance issues after hours, via phone, text or in-person as needed.
Qualifications :
- Industrial Electrician Certificate
- Instrumentation and PLC experience a plus.
- Reads and interprets schematics and blueprints.
- Good writing, communication and math skills.
- Experience working with a Computer and maintenance / preventive maintenance software and applications.
- Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and correct situations.
