Their targeted experience and innovative technology provide cost savings, reliable service, process continuity, and accurate, insightful data that enables governments to make informed strategic decisions, reducing stress on the healthcare system through streamlined administration.
As the new LMS Content Creator , you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining engaging and effective learning content for the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS). This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and other stakeholders to create interactive e-learning modules, training materials, and assessments. The Learning Management Content Creator ensures that all content aligns with the organization’s learning objectives, enhances employee development, and meets the highest standards of instructional design.
Accountabilities
Content Development : Design, create, and update engaging e-learning modules, courses, and assessments for the LMS using various authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia)Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation, including generating personalized learning paths, automating assessments, and providing adaptive learning experiencesCollaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and transform complex concepts into digestible, interactive learning contentEnsure content is aligned with learning objectives, company policies, and compliance requirementsMultimedia Integration : Incorporate multimedia elements (audio, video, graphics, animations) into e-learning content to enhance learner engagement and knowledge retentionEdit and optimize video / audio recordings and create visual assets as necessary to support training materialsEnsure all content is mobile-responsive and accessible in compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG “Web Content Accessibility Guidelines”)LMS Management : Upload and organize courses, training materials, and assessments within the Learning Management SystemCreate learning paths, curricula, and certifications for employees based on learning goals and business needsTroubleshoot content issues within the LMS, ensuring functionality across different browsers, devices, and user groupsAssessment & Evaluation : Develop quizzes, tests, and assessments to evaluate learners' understanding and retention of the training materialCollect and analyze feedback from learners to continuously improve content effectivenessMonitor learner performance and engagement through the LMS reporting tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvementsContinuous Improvement : Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and instructional design best practicesSuggest and implement new ways to enhance the learning experience and improve the organization’s LMS content libraryRegularly review and update existing content to ensure it remains accurate, relevant, and engagingDetails
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a hybrid work model that blends remote work with planned in-office days. You will be required to visit the Toronto office a couple times a month. Schedules will be determined in partnership between individuals, managers, and the team. While enjoying the flexibility of working from home. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 am – 5 pm.
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $55,000 to $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package and a Defined Benefit Pension Plan starting from your first day. Other perks include vacation time, a performance-based bonus, and a one-time home office allowance.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Education, Instructional Design, Information Technology, or a related fieldA certification in e-learning design or instructional design is a plus2-4 years of experience in e-learning content creation, instructional design, or a related fieldExperience working with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate, Captivate, Camtasia, or similar softwareExperience in multimedia content creation, including video editing and graphic design, is preferredStrong instructional design skills with the ability to create content that is engaging, accessible, and aligned with learning objectivesProficiency with e-learning authoring tools and multimedia softwareKnowledge of learning theories, adult learning principles, and e-learning best practicesExcellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging mannerAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teamsCreative thinker with a passion for innovative learning solutionsStrong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality workProactive and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentA passion for continuous learning and professional growthNote : A Condition of employment is that you must clear a criminal background check.
