Financial Analyst
About the Opportunity
- Support reporting (P&L, balance sheet, management binder, capex, intercompany, etc), analyze P&L results against forecast / budget / prior year, understand and report on variances, analyze trends and highlight issues
- Support forecast exercise, update templates monthly; support annual budget exercise
- Complete month end close activities, including journal entry analysis and preparations, book to physical reconciliations, material expense analysis and follow up, and other month end activities
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation review, analysis, and follow up
- Manage raw material reporting for Board, and complete analysis and investigations as required
- Update KPI scorecards, review trends, and reconcile reporting
- Provide analysis and support to internal and external audit teams
- Continuously evaluate environment for process improvements and automation
- Ad hoc analysis and general team support (including Interco AP analysis / support, lease / REFX activities, etc)
- This position reports to Finance Manager and has no direct reports.
About You
- Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA Professional accounting designation preferred or working towards
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role performing month end duties (3 years in a manufacturing environment).
- Strong ability to work independently
- In depth knowledge of SAP
- Expert MS office and excel skills
- Solid knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles required
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability in financial analysis
- Leadership ability for cross functional projects
- Working knowledge of support services and teams within organization
- Significant Raw Materials and Inventory accounting exposure
Salary Range
$85,000 / year
