Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting processes. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Our client, a rapidly growing, founder‑led technology and staffing company, is expanding and looking for a hands‑on Controller to build the financial foundation and lead accounting, financial operations, and reporting alongside the leadership team.

Location : Toronto (in‑office)

Salary : $100,000+
Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations, including AP / AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and month‑end / year‑end close.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial modeling to support growth and strategic decisions.
- Prepare financial statements and KPIs for leadership, partnering across teams to optimize processes.
- Ensure compliance, coordinate audits, and maintain strong internal controls and risk management.
