The Advisory Services team focuses on transaction advisory services, mergers & acquisitions, restructuring, turnaround and general business advisory, and our clients typically consist of private corporations and financial institutions.

Role Summary
Working in multidisciplinary teams, you will apply your professional and technical skills on a wide variety of engagements including transactions, business reviews and diagnostics.
As Vice-President, you will :
- Lead engagements with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop, train and coach team members.
- Assist in developing practice strategy (department growth, best practices, etc.).
- Deliver high-quality client service.
Transaction Advisory
- Lead financial due diligence and provide transaction in order to validate the financial and commercial assumptions on which the contemplated acquisition is based (Quality of Earnings).
- Assess working capital requirements.
- Review of various legal documents and agreements (Letter of Intent, financing agreements, Share or Asset Purchase Agreements, etc.).
- Identify key deal issues and the potential impacts on the investment strategy.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clients and stakeholders.
- Review / prepare Quality of Earnings reports.
Restructuring & Turnaround
- Lead financial diagnostics and / or independent business reviews.
- Review of borrowing base calculations as defined by the lending agreements.
- Oversee cashflow and working capital management or monitoring.
- Review / prepare 13-week cashflow and borrowing base forecasts.
- Financial planning and forecasting.
- Identify key issues.
- Communicate findings and recommendations clients and stakeholders.
- Review / prepare reports.
Requirements
- Professional designation (CPA, CFA, CBV or CIRP) is preferred.
- 5+ years of transactional services or restructuring experience in a service firm and 7+ years of total experience of accounting and / or finance experience in a consulting and / or corporate environment.
- Strong financial modelling skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Professional report writing and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills and ability to cope with changing priorities and strict deadlines.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work autonomously.
