Cloud Architect

Role : Azure cloud architect

Duration : 11+ Months.

Location : Ontario, canada

• Design and implement advanced functions of Office 365 and / or Azure AD Premium including security, governance and compliance
• Provide second level support for issues wrt to compute, network and storage on Azure
• Strong understanding of features and capabilities of the Microsoft Cloud Platform (Security, Firewalls, RedisCache, Key Vault, Service Bus, ASR, Networking, OMS, Blob Storage, Resource Groups, NSG, Application Insights, SQL Server, Sql DB, Load-Balancers)
• Design and implementation of ADFS identity solutions for more than Microsoft Office 365
• Designing Solutions in Microsoft Azure as per project specifications and needs
• Drive architecture and technical discussion to lead cloud security, privacy, and compliance decisions scale, performance, agility, HA / DR considerations
• Configure and manage customer Azure cloud environment
• Ability to analyze systems and identify problems migrating to Azure cloud
• Implement CI / CD based application development methodology using tools like Jenkins / TFS / powershell
• Work with clients to ensure smooth and successful implementation, delivery and deployment of complex solutions
• Estimation and outlining of the solutions needed to implement cloud migration as well as continued operations are also part of a solutions architect job profile.
• Executing the hands-on implementation of proposed solutions, and providing technical guidance to teams during the solutions’ development and deployment phases is a major role of a solutions architect.
• Share information and guidance on engineering methodologies, standards, and best practices proactively with the team members.
• Identify, communicate, and mitigate the assumptions, issues, and risks that occur throughout the project lifecycle
