TELUS Technology Solutions (TTech) consists of Consumer Solutions, Business Solutions, Health, and Agriculture & Consumer Goods.

Within TELUS Consumer Solutions (TCS), the Chief Product Office (CPO) team leads the design and delivery of our products and services, including : internet, TV / OTT, smart home automation, and new & emerging solutions.

The Content, Strategy & Business Development (CSBD) team is the central group responsible for solving Leadership’s toughest problems, delivering differentiated value to our customers, and growing our market share across Canada.

This includes strategy definition, roadmap creation, and development and delivery of cross functional products and services.

As the Senior Product Manager for the TELUS Rewards program, you will identify new opportunities, conduct analyses, and drive cross-functional engagement across product and marketing teams, to evolve the program and lead execution of the strategic loyalty roadmap.

Here’s How

Product

  • Evolve the TELUS Rewards product vision and strategy
  • Own the product roadmap and build alignment on prioritization which drives product execution
  • Define requirements, socialize across digital and technology teams, and manage backlog
  • Partner with the Consumer Marketing team to understand user needs and establish success criteria with measurable objectives and key results to deliver a great customer experience
  • Conduct financial analyses and business casing in partnership with the CPO Strategic Finance team
  • Leverage customer-centric design principles and validate new features releases to ensure we delight customers in the way in which we intend
  • Implement best in class product development and management practices
  • Communicate concisely and influence outcomes
  • Track, analyze, and continuously improve product performance

Partnerships

  • Strategize, prepare and execute joint plans with loyalty partners
  • Contribute to and support strategic alliances in partnership with the CPO Strategy & Business Development team

Qualifications

About You

4-5+ years experience within product, strategy or engineering at a leading technology, media / entertainment or telecommunications firm;

experience with rewards and loyalty products is a plus

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a focus on business administration, commerce, engineering or relevant field of study
  • Recognized for your demonstrated ability to identify new opportunities and develop plans to deliver on these opportunities
  • Noted for your curiosity and ability to bring forward new ideas, willing to get into the details of a problem and solution to the degree that you can own the solution as the business prime, your not satisfied with the status quo
  • A persuasive advisor, who listens, learns, and can articulate a compelling story in a clear and simple manner

Great-to-haves

  • Product Management Certification; experience with Service Design methodologies is an asset
  • Chief of Staff experience : managing ad-hoc asks for leadership including reporting, preparing materials for internal and external stakeholders, etc.
  • A passion for media, entertainment, and technology

Salary Range : $96,000-$144,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan : 15%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function, such as :
