Order Set Builder, Blood Bank/Transfusion Medicine
Position : Clinical Systems Specialist - Cerner PowerChart
Location : Remote
Duration : Month Contract with possibility of extension
Responsibilities :
- Recent and relevant experience in designing and building Day of Treatment Order sets / power plans within Cerner. Mandatory Ambulatory experience.
- Strong competencies with Cerner PowerChart functionality for orders, order sets, mPages, and clinical documentation.
- Excellent skills in configuration and testing of Transfusion Designs.
- Experience with CCLs and reporting considered an asset, but not mandatory.
Collaboration and Documentation :
- Engage with relevant design and informatics teams in the execution of deliverables.
- Work with and develop / complete DCWs and custom requirement gathering documentation in collaboration with relevant partners in informatics and build teams.
Meeting Facilitation :
Facilitate meetings and demonstrate excellent presentation skills to clinical audiences.
Software Proficiency :
Proficient use of Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
Transfusion Medicine Awareness :
- Awareness of all aspects of the Transfusion Medicine service as it relates to PowerChart designs (, OEFs, Order Sets, iView, etc).
