Work setup : Remote setup, anywhere in British Columbia
Responsibilities :
- Manage and review NTR, review, and audit engagements independently
- Deliver accurate and timely work to Partners.
- Have strong knowledge of clients' industries, including construction, charities, NPOs, quasi-government organizations, and school districts.
- Provide expertise in ASPE, ASNPO, and PSAS standards.
- Lead and mentor engagement teams, supporting their growth.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring quality work and exploring new opportunities.
- Oversee client portfolios and offer innovative solutions.
- Encourage a positive and collaborative work environment.
Qualifications :
- Canadian CPA Designation
- 6+ years of private enterprise experience at another CPA firm, including compilations, audit engagements, and NTRs.
- 3+ years of team management experience.
- Knowledge and experience with ASPE, ASNPO, and PSAS standards.
- Experience working with clients in industries such as construction, NPOs, government, school districts, and charities.
- Proficiency in CaseWare / Caseview and TaxPrep is an asset.
- Willing to travel three times a year to the office for events such as conferences.
