Cloud Operations Support Engineer

Join Siemens Digital Industries Software in our Managed Cloud Services Team. This role ensures efficient operation of our cloud infrastructure supporting critical applications and services. Ability to work Pacific Time Zone (8 AM - 5 PM PT) is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Management : support, troubleshoot, and remediate virtual machines, containers, and cloud-native services across Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Vendor Collaboration : liaise with cloud service providers and other vendors to resolve support issues and optimize delivery.
• Resource Deployment & Orchestration : deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and platform services.
• Incident & Service Request Resolution : act as Level I / II escalation for complex incidents and service requests related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Cloud Projects : participate in and lead cloud-focused projects, including new service implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and migrations.
• Follow-the-sun / on‑call : the position largely avoids on‑call but includes backup for critical issues.
