Cleaner & Maintenance Technician

We’re growing!! And looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic candidate to join our team for the position of Cleaner & Maintenance Technician located in Dartmouth, NS ! This full-time position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined and loves making things sparkle! What you'll be doing : Maintaining the physical integrity of the building through general maintenance and cleaning.

Repairing items in vacant and occupied units (minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.) Completing physically demanding work which includes the use of ladders, and power tools.

Applying knowledge of building HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems. Providing customer service and a welcoming environment for out tenants as you work around the properties.

Contributing to operational excellence through tasks being completed within Skyline standards, and in line with all applicable provincial legislation including Occupational health and Safety Act.

Residential Tenancies Act, and the Human Rights Code. What we look for : Excellent maintenance cleaning skills and ability to make things shine! General understanding of cleaning products, basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry.

Ability to work independently as well as with a team. General office administration skills and PC skills are an asset (Word, Excel, email / web).

Ability to frequently walk, bend, push, pull and lift items, occasionally up to 50lbs as well as go up and down stairs. Two (2) years related work experience.
