Job Description

Finance Office Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced, self-driven, and financially savvy individual to ensure the smooth, efficient, and profitable operation of all aspects of our business.

This role is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial health, as well as managing accounting and administrative functions.

The ideal candidate will ensure proper accounting practices are followed, budgets and forecasts are in place, and costs are effectively tracked and managed for profitability.

This individual will also manage the day-to-day office operations and administration, leading a team of employees across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Analyze financial data and provide sound business recommendations to support the company's growth objectives.
  • Stay current with accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Provide strong financial leadership and accountability for the team.
  • Oversee daily business operations, improving processes and procedures.
  • Handle all daily accounting functions essential for running the business.
  • Own and manage pricing and costing strategies.
  • Evaluate productivity and performance, implementing strategies for continuous improvement and growth.
  • Support audits and financial reporting.
  • Oversee all staffing-related functions, including HR responsibilities.
  • Maintain and update the ERP system.
  • Manage office administration tasks and staff.

Requirements

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing employees in a senior role.
  • 10 years of experience in a senior accounting and finance position.
  • CPA designation required; CMA is an asset.
  • In-depth knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in the food industry is an asset.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Strategic business planning skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications : Experience : Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience, with significant experience using ERP systems.

Education : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organization : Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
