Our client, an established employer in British Columbia is seeking a Sr Business Consultant to join their team.
This role will be key in identifying business requirements, and translating them into functional specifications and managing test cases.
This is a 9 month contract open to extension; hybrid in Vancouver.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and support the implementation of SAP S / 4HANA, ensuring alignment with business processes and objectives.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify, document, and analyze business needs and system requirements.
- Develop, document, and manage test cases to validate S / 4HANA solutions, covering both functional and non-functional aspects.
- Execute testing plans, coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT), and track defect resolution to ensure high-quality project delivery.
- Support data migration activities by ensuring data consistency and quality during S / 4HANA implementation.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams, business users, and third-party vendors to ensure alignment on requirements and timelines.
- Support organizational change initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Create detailed functional documentation and user manuals, and provide training to end-users as needed.
Key Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in SAP projects, with a strong focus on S / 4HANA implementations .
- Expertise in test case design, execution , and managing UAT for SAP environments.
- Solid understanding of business process analysis and optimization, with the ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with data migration and validation in SAP implementations is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile / Scrum project management methodologies is a plus.
