Our client is in the Retail industry. Reporting to the President, Our Client is looking for a VP Finance who will be responsible for all aspects of the Company’s financial operations including IT, Credit, Human Resources, Administration and Facilities Management.

About the Opportunity
- Accountable for financial reporting, all areas of accounting operations, budgeting and forecasting, all tax laws and regulations, and related functions of the organization
- Responsible for IT providing oversight and ensuring that projects are properly aligned and prioritized with corporate needs, initiatives, and goals.
- Accountable for credit, ensuring that company assets are safeguarded, and financial risk is minimized.
- Responsible for managing and administrating all Human Resources related functions including payroll, recruitment, terminations, Benefits, Employee Handbook, Health & Safety and Employee service awards program.
- Manages the treasury function and negotiate with the bank ensuring the most beneficial and cost-effective banking and financing arrangements are concluded on behalf of the company.
- Responsible for engaging and supporting the external audit activities and audit preparation.
- Responsible for preparing and reporting Financial and AR reports to the Board.
- Manages all insurance coverage and building lease negotiations for the organization.
- Liaison with external parties (accountants, lawyers, banks, insurance, etc.) with regard to all financial, legal and tax issues
About You
- Professional CPA certification
- 6 years of experience in leadership role
- Working in a $200M sized Company
- Experience with functions outside of Finance (eg IT , HR, Admin, Facilities)
- Ability to be Hands-On
Salary Range
$200,000 - $250,000 / year
