Yourmission should you accept it :

Reportingto the Project Manager, the function of the environmental coordinator is tosupport and monitor the work carried out on sites where wind farm projects arebeing built in Quebec, from Beaupré to Gaspé.

The role requires interactingwith a wide range of stakeholders, from different levels and positions toensure the project proceeds in accordance with the conditions set by regulatoryauthorities.

PPAW 2

Located in Bas-Saint-Laurent, Quebec, the PPAW 2 wind farm is valued at approximately $1 billion (CAD).

PPAW 2 is a 291 megawatt project that will produce enough electricity to power the equivalent of more than 40,000 homes. Commissioning of the wind farm is planned for 2029.

Haute-Chaudière

Three municipalities, Audet and Frontenac and Lac-Mégantic located in the MRC du Granit in the administrative region of Estrie will host wind turbines as part of this Project which will be connected to a Hydro-Québec electrical substation in service in the city of Lac-Mégantic, on rue Pie-XI.

The project will include approximately 20 wind turbines and is scheduled to be commissioned by the end of 2026.

• Holda technical or university degree in environment, engineering, forestry, biologyor other relevant field;
• Demonstratea minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position;
• Demonstrateadvanced knowledge of environmental standards to be respected on constructionsites (RADF);
• KnowArcGIS software and have good technological skills;
• Demonstratean advanced level of bilingualism in English and French, written and spoken;
• Experiencein the construction industry and its health and safety standards, an asset.

Whatyou will do to complete this mission successfully :

• Ensure planning,environmental monitoring of wind turbine construction work, in collaborationwith a multidisciplinary team and monitoring of current mandates (deadlines andbudgets)
• Ensureenvironmental monitoring of wind turbine construction work, in collaborationwith a multidisciplinary team
• Validatecompliance with specifications, monitoring plans, laws, regulations andconditions of regulatory authorities
• Maintainup-to-date knowledge of appropriate legislation
• Liaise withclients, subcontractors, approval authorities, project stakeholders
• Collaborate inobtaining environmental permits and certificates of authorization
• Propose solutionsto problems related to the environment
• Participate in thedevelopment of new tools and services offered by the company
• Collaborate inobtaining exemptions or additional authorizations, if necessary
• Participate insite meetings
• Write monitoringreports
• Perform otherrelated duties.
