Intermediate Project Engineer – Energy & Process

WSP is seeking an Intermediate Project Engineer to join our Energy & Process division in Canada. The role supports projects from concept through construction across upstream, midstream, and downstream sectors and emerging low‑carbon markets.

What you’ll do

• Plan, schedule, estimate, and forecast project effort and design engineering deliverables.
• Review and approve cost estimates, schedules, risk assessments, and design documents.
• Lead project strategy to ensure early identification of critical issues and achievement of quality, schedule, and cost goals.
• Interpret and apply project specifications across all engineering disciplines.
• Coordinate with discipline teams and maintain engineering control documents.
• Serve as the main technical contact with the client and mentor junior engineers.
• Provide professional designation support on projects.
• Maintain quality control and quality assurance and recommend improvements.
