A career as a SQL back-end developer in the Asset Management team at National Bank means acting as an expert in design, development and optimization of critical databases to support our strategic applications.

Your job :

Database Development and Optimization : Design, develop, and optimize SQL databases, primarily on Sybase, to ensure performance and integrity.

Problem Analysis and Resolution : Diagnose and resolve complex database issues, analyze performance, and propose improvements to existing systems.

Collaboration and Support : Work closely with development teams, analysts, and project managers to integrate database solutions into enterprise applications.

Version control with Git : Use Git for version control and code tracking, ensuring version consistency across different development and production environments.

Technical documentation : Write clear technical documents for developers, end users, and other stakeholders.

Your team :

Within the IT Wealth Management Delivery sector, you will report to the Head of Asset Management. Our Protax team in the DATA OSS train is responsible for the realization of several regulatory, evolutionary, maintenance, and security projects in coordination with our partners (operations, suppliers, customers) while ensuring the achievement of quality / deadline standards for the production of tax slips.

Basic requierements :

SQL Expertise : Strong background in SQL programming, ability to write complex scripts and optimize queries for maximum performance.

Experience with Sybase : Demonstrated proficiency in Sybase database management is highly desired.

Proficiency in the Unix environment : Extensive experience with Unix operating systems, including the ability to write and maintain shell scripts.

Knowledge of Git : Experience in using Git for source code management.

Autonomy and collaboration : Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.

Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to dive deep into technical details.
