Position Overview

Strategic Leadership :

Define and implement the AI technical strategy for the AIR org, aligning it with Autodesk’s broader technical goals and business objectives

Team Leadership :

Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing AI teams, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to deliver state-of-the-art solutions

Project Management :

Innovation and Development :

Drive the research and development of new AI technologies and their application within AutoCAD and Infrastructure products like Civil3D

Collaboration :

Partner with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and design, to seamlessly integrate AI solutions into our product offerings

Stakeholder Engagement :

Communicate technical strategies, progress, and outcomes to key stakeholders across the organization

Quality Standards :

Ensure the highest quality standards in AI and ML model development, testing, and deployment

Thought Leadership :

Represent Autodesk at industry conferences, workshops, and within professional networks to stay at the forefront of advancements in AI / ML technology

Minimum Qualifications

Educational Background :

Major in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field

Experience :

Minimum of 5 years of experience in AI / ML engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership position

Technical Expertise :

Extensive knowledge of AI / ML algorithms, frameworks, and tools, with experience in developing AI solutions for software products

Industry Knowledge :

In-depth understanding of the needs and challenges within the infrastructure and reality capture domains

Leadership :

Proven experience in leading and scaling high-performing AI / ML teams

Collaboration :

Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Communication :

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience

Problem Solving :

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and drive innovative solutions

Visionary :

Ability to think strategically about the future of AI and its application in the design and infrastructure industries
