Workday Business Analyst - Finance - HYBRID

Our Vancouver client is embarking on a significant project to implement the Workday ERP system, aimed at revolutionizing financial operations.

We are seeking a dedicated Finance Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in this transformative initiative. As part of a project team led by the Senior Project Manager, you will focus on analyzing current finance processes, preparing specifications, and documenting requirements using BPMN.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current finance processes and identify opportunities for enhancement and integration within the Workday ERP system.
• Prepare comprehensive functional, non-functional, and technical specifications for finance module configuration.
• Facilitate workshops with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and document business processes using BPMN.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of finance system configurations with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
• Support testing, data migration, and training efforts related to the Workday finance module implementation to ensure successful deployment and user adoption.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of progressive experience in implementing Workday ERP systems, with a focus on the finance module.
• Proven track record of successfully leading or supporting finance module implementations in large-scale ERP projects.
• Strong proficiency in analyzing, documenting, and optimizing finance processes using industry best practices.
• Solid understanding of financial systems and processes, including budgeting, reporting, and financial controls.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; certifications in Workday Financial Management or relevant areas preferred.
