The Right Fit

The Property Accountant reports to the Controller and works closely with property managers, asset managers, and project teams. This role suits someone who is detail-focused, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing multiple properties and priorities. Growth exists through increased portfolio responsibility and exposure to development and capital projects.

What You'll Be Doing

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple properties
• Analyze property-level P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
• Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany transactions, and general ledgers
• Prepare and post journal entries and review invoice accuracy
• Review CAM reconciliations, lease accounting, and residential accounting
• Prepare and file GST returns with supporting documentation
• Review third-party property management statements
• Track capital and development project costs and support draw reporting
