Reporting to the Produce Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following :

• Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
• Provide Legendary Service through all touch points through various communication channels
• Properly prepare products to Lake Country Co-op standards while maintaining production records
• Ensure to keep a clean and well-maintained department
• Procure, receive, and display product with a focus on well-organized, visually appealing presentation
• Follow all Food Safe and Health and Safety regulations and practices
• Continually monitor code dates to ensure the freshest inventory on the shelf at all times; follow FIFO
• Perform other duties as assigned

Who you are :

You are looking for a career in Retail Store Operations and Customer Service :

• You have a Grade 12 education or a combination of relevant experience; background in the retail produce industry is considered an asset
• You are honest and trustworthy, are results oriented, and are proud of the work that you do
• You are well organized, capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
• You are familiar with food safe procedures and practices
• You have the ability to fulfill extensive physical labour job requirements standing, performing regular heavy lifting, and frequent operation of a pallet jack
• You have the ability to work in a fast paced, guest facing environment
• You have a flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays
