Explore your next role :
- As a key member of the Information Technology department, the IT Support Analyst will provide effective and courteous front-line services to IT users so that they can efficiently carry out their work and identify opportunities to improve their use of technology;
- Manages end-user accounts, permissions, access rights, storage allocations in accordance with enterprise IT policies and procedure.
- Responsible for incident investigation, diagnosis, resolution and closure.
- First point-of-contact for IT service requests.
- Receive and accurately record IT service requests, solve hardware and software problems, and ensures, with the aid of the appropriate internal or external resource, that application and system problems are resolved and follows up with the customer in a timely fashion with the appropriate corrective action.
- Manages printing service uptime including but not limited to reordering supplies, troubleshooting printer issues, contacting printer support vendor, and printer access.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access.
- Manages all operating systems and end-user software.
- Deploys and maintains workstations, servers, printers, scanners, mobile phones, and accessories to Voyageur staff and customers.
- Performs software and hardware audits.
- Provides recommendations on software and hardware improvements, upgrades, patches, reconfigurations and / or purchases.
- Participates in IT configuration management based on best practices and internal policies.
- Register and inventory all IT hardware / software to comply with company policy and vendor license agreement
- Responsible for staying current on software versioning, release notes, out-of-date applications including but not limited to OS, A / V, Servers, Enterprise Applications, Mobile Applications, add-ons, browsers, etc Excellent oral and written communication skills
Your Distinctive Ingredients for Success :
- Computer related College Diploma or Degree is required
- Minimum 3+ years related work experience in an Information Systems environment with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Broad range of experience and knowledge in end user computing environment.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Experience in Microsoft, CompTIA, or ITIL Certification is preferred
- Excellent working knowledge and experience with current internet technologies.
