We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Lead Civil / Structural Engineer with experience in brownfield and / or greenfield industrial, oil & gas, oil sands, refinery, petrochemical, or mining projects to join our team!
We have a highly collaborative work environment that is supported through an in-office approach. Working side-by-side with other Capital team members and our clients brings out the best in us and produces exceptional results. This position will be in-person, with no hybrid option. There is the ability to choose either a standard 5-day work week, or a condensed 4-day work week.
What are we looking for?
- 10+ years experience in design for brownfield and / or greenfield utility, oil & gas, oil sands, refinery, or industrial projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (required);
- Registered with APEGA as a Professional Engineer (required).
- Lead, delegate and supervise work for designers and engineers.
- Act as project lead and primary point of contact for clients when required
- Develop scopes of work, scoping studies, Design Basis Memoranda (DBMs), Construction Work Packages, and technical reports
- Develop work packages, respond to RFIs, and resolve technical deviations from engineering specifications
- Act as an Owner’s engineer for our clients when required.
- Collaborate with designers and cross-discipline teams to execute integrated project deliverables
- Conduct structural integrity field reviews and condition assessments of existing structures
- Participate in constructability reviews and support construction sequencing and scheduling
What do we value :
