Facility Monitor, Arenas

Duties and Responsibilities :

Answer inquiries from the public about arena hours of operation, rental availability and other similar questions.

Perform cash duties for public programs, including balancing and other related duties.

Report any misconduct or horseplay to the Facilities Maintenance worker on duty.

Maintain attendance data for skating programs.

Update dressing room assignment board.

Assist with special events and facility promotion.

Assist with light cleaning of the office area.

Maintain a safe, fun and enjoyable recreational experience for all guests.

Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements :

Cash experience, making Point of Sale (POS) transactions.

Customer service experience.

Demonstrated experience working in an arena or similar / related environment is an asset.

Experience and proficiency working with computers and digital software.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software programs with the ability to adapt quickly to applicable software.

Current Standard First Aid, CPR "C" and AED certification.

This part-time position works varying hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Proven completion of Ministry of Labour Worker Health and Safety Awareness training.

A demonstrated commitment to enhancing a safety culture.

Wage : $19.89

Expected Work Location : Various Arenas

Hours of Work : Up to 24 hours per week
