TIG Welding

Bestlogic Staffing is currently seeking askilled TIG Welder to join our our client in East Granby CT. As aTIG Welder you will be responsible for producing highquality weldson various metal components using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) weldingtechniques.

This is a temporary contract position with thepossibility of extension based onperformance.

KeyResponsibilities :

Perform TIG welding on avariety of metal components including stainless steel aluminum andother alloys

Read and interpret engineeringdrawings and blueprints to determine weldingrequirements

Set up and operate TIG weldingequipment including gas tanks torches and fillerrods

Ensure that all welds meet qualitystandards and specifications

Inspect finishedwelds for defects and make necessary repairs

Maintain a clean and organized work area including proper storageof materials and tools

Adhere to all safetyprotocols and regulations to ensure a safe workingenvironment

Qualifications :

Minimum of 2 years of experience in TIG welding

Strong knowledge of TIG welding techniques andequipment

Ability to read and interpretengineering drawings and blueprints

Proficientin basic math and measurement skills

Experienceworking with a variety of metals including stainless steel andaluminum

Knowledge of welding safety practicesand procedures

Strong attention to detail andquality control

Ability to work independentlyand as part of a team

Flexibility to workovertime and weekends as needed
