Were seeking a highlymotivated Banking Operations Officer to join our clients dynamicteam and play a key role in processing and settling variousfinancialtransactions.
Thisrole is based in theOperations Department covering the processing confirmation andsettlement of treasury GBP clearing and treasury transactionsundertaken by theBank.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Processdaily treasuryproducts (interbank loans / deposits FXswaps bond settlements repos interest & crosscurrencyswaps) with precision and efficiency adhering tostrict SWIFT protocols (MT103 202 Pacs008 / 009 / 054).
- Ensureaccurate and timely processingof correspondentbanking and GBPclearing payments.
- Manage operationalrisks associated with varioustransactions.
- Provide backupsupport for loan administration(syndicated & bilateral) trade finance and othertasks.
- Managecore banking system tasks including populating new account dataprocessing incoming payments and creating SWIFTmessages.
- Generatereports for departmental and managementneeds.
- Collaboratewith colleagues for crosstraining on GBP clearing treasuryprocedures andprocessing.
- Contributeto team policies procedures and risk matrixdevelopment.
- Handleadditional assignments as directed by yourmanager.
Requirements
- Minimumof 2 years experience in banking operations (payments settlementtrade financetreasury).
- Provenexpertise in SWIFT message handling (MT103 202 Pacs 008 / 009 / 054)with a strong understanding of additional message types a plus(MT).
- Familiaritywith UCP600 URDG and ISBPstandards.
- Proficientuser of Microsoft Office and Excel at an intermediate / advancedlevel.
- Excellentcommunication skills in both English andMandarin.
- Strongteam player with a collaborative spirit acrossdepartments.

Minimum of 2 years' experience in banking operations (payments,settlement, trade finance, treasury). Proven expertise in SWIFTmessage handling (MT103, 202, Pacs 008 / 009 / 054) with a strongunderstanding of additional message types a plus (MT300, 320, 541,543, 700, 707, 799).
Familiarity with UCP600, URDG, and ISBPstandards. Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Excel at anintermediate / advanced level.
Excellent communication skills in bothEnglish and Mandarin. Strong team player with a collaborativespirit across departments.
