Job Title : Community Residential Worker

Position Type : Full-Time, Temporary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Residential Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential care and support to individuals in need within the community.

The hours are 7 : 00AM-7 : 00PM & 7 : 00pm-7 : 00AM. These are temporary full time positions with the potential to turn permanent depending on the needs of the participants.

Job Overview

  • Assist participants with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation
  • Ability to assist participants in community events and life skills.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to participants
  • Help participants with mobility and transportation needs
  • Monitor and report any changes in participants' health or behavior
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other caregivers to ensure the well-being of participants

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Disability supports or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills is required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals in need
  • Supervising skills are a plus
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds is required.
