Job Title : Project Manager - Building Design
Location : Kingston, ON
Type : Full-Time, Permanent
Seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Project Manager with Ontario building design experience, adept at both design and project management.
Responsibilities :
- Develop project proposals, negotiate fees, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Formulate and manage project teams for timely and budget-compliant project delivery.
- Track project progress, communicate updates, and oversee quality control.
- Facilitate client meetings, document discussions, and ensure design alignment.
- Identify additional scope, negotiate fees, and oversee sub-consultants.
- Coordinate contract administration and invoicing, fostering client relationships.
Design Duties :
- Design mechanical or electrical projects of varying complexity.
- Mentor junior staff and oversee project documentation.
- Conduct field reviews and manage construction administration.
Requirements :
- Proficient in mechanical and electrical systems management.
- Experienced in project and construction management.
- Familiarity with construction contract law and pricing projects.
- Effective multitasker with problem-solving abilities.
- 8+ years' experience in building design or construction.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.
