Associate Investment Advisor
Job description
To accommodate our continued growth and success, Nour Private Wealth (NPW) is seeking an experienced Associate Investment Advisor for one of our Investment advisors at NPW.
This position requires an experienced, detail-oriented individual with strong process, and communication skills, ideally with prior experience at an IIROC dealer member.
Responsibilities
- Act on lead advisors' instructions, attend client meetings, present investment ideas, and promote disciplined investor behavior.
- Assist in research, analysis, asset mix decisions, and investment product selection.
- Prepare investment policy statements, investment proposals, and client review presentations.
- Provide high-quality client service through various communication channels.
- Uphold high standards of integrity, objectivity, and expertise.
- Facilitate and resolve client service requests.
- Apply operational and client-service processes knowledge effectively.
- Work independently and efficiently, ensuring all paperwork is prepared for client meetings.
- Handle confidential information responsibly.
- Support Investment advisor with daily tasks, including calendar management and correspondence.
- Prepare Client account opening forms.
- Interact with clients in person and over the phone.
- Review and process year-end tax forms for clients.
- Perform other duties assigned by the lead advisor.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualification
- IIROC / CIRO licensed.
- Bachelor's degree with a focus on finance.
- 5-10 years of experience in investment or financial services.
- Experience managing diversified portfolios with ETFs, mutual funds, and individual securities.
- Ability to attract new clients.
- Familiarity with Dataphile, Morningstar, Hubspot, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced organizational skills, including calendar management and scheduling.
- Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
- LLQP licensing an asset.
- Fluent in English, French is an asset.
Salary
Salary based on experience and commensurate with the marketplace.
