Location : Montreal, QC
Our client is a leader in industrial real estate and is adding new buildings to its portfolio. They are recruiting a Health & Safety Coordinator to join their team in the Montreal area.
Responsibilities :
- Plan route and travel to inspection sites
- Inspect buildings and the entire property
- Carry out inspections and risk assessments, and consider how risks could be reduced
- Investigate accidents and recommend improvements to health and safety standards
- Record accidents and inspection results
- Write reports to suggest improvements
- Advise on protective clothing and safety equipment
- Identify construction project hazards and risks through regular, coordinated site inspections
- Establish and maintain health and safety communication structures and systems, distribute specific health and safety documents to subcontractor
Qualifications :
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in the health and safety field
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in the construction sector
- ASP certification
- Workplace health and safety training (construction sites)
- Bilingual : written and spoken
Skills :
Advanced organizational skills
Knowledge of safety equipment
